Defines over 300 geometric and kinematic terms for gears and includes more than 150 diagrams. Applicable to cylindrical, bevel, hypoid gears and gear pairs. It is based on ISO 1122.1, with modifications and additions; it also provides gear notation symbols reproduced from ISO 701. An alphabetical index is included.
